Junior Livestock Foundation is to promote youth livestock exhibitors
across the state by recognizing young people
leadership and dedication to the livestock industry, and success
with their livestock projects. Through fundraising initiatives
implemented by the GJLF, the board will be able to financially
support programs targeting those young people while gaining a higher
recognition of the livestock industry.
GJLF is offering one $1,500 scholarship in memory of Lee Harris Jr. and five $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors who have been active in the Georgia junior livestock program. Deadline to apply is Jan. 14, 2015. Download info & application.
